Boak & Bailey Book Signing at Tap East

On Saturday 22nd November Boak and Bailey will be at Tap East to sign copies of their critically acclaimed book Brew Britannia: the strange rebirth of British beer; an entertaining account of how British beer got it's mojo back after the low point of the 1960s and 70s, packed with facts, stories and eccentric characters.

The perfect Christmas present for the beer lover in your life!

Boak and Baily will be at Tap East from 2pm on 22/11/14. Find out more about their book, and read their blog here:

Tap East Ubique - 1914 Porter

Brewed to commemorate the centenary of the First World War, the second beer in the Tap East Ubique series is a 4.7% Porter. The beer has been brewed to replicate the original London Porter style, and is based on a recipe dating back to 1914.

The Tap East Ubique 1914 Porter will be launched on Sunday 9th November coinciding with Remembrance Sunday. We will be donating 40 pence of each pint sold to the Royal Artillery Charitable Fund, who assist wounded Gunners and their dependents.

Ubique will be available on cask from 12 noon at both Tap East, and our sister bar The Rake in Borough Market.
