On Thursday 4th February we will be launching a one off Tap East and Beak Brewery collaboration. Beak Brewery based in Leeds is the brain child of food and drink writer Daniel Tapper (@TheBeakBrewery). The beer itself is a 8.5% double IPA, brewed with Australian Enigma hops, making for a fruity, sweet and aromatic tipple. The beer will be available in both keg and bottle, it's one not to miss!

Tap East Launches Madagascan Chocolate Beer for Chocolate Week

Madagascan ‘Fair for Life’ chocolate brand Mad├ęcasse is teaming up with London brewery Tap East to create an ultra-exclusive chocolate beer to celebrate Chocolate Week from the 12-18th October.

While Tap East Head Brewer Jonny Park is keeping the brew recipe and beer style close to his chest after months of experimentation, the one guarantee is that the beer will utilise Madagascan cocoa, which is considered by many experts to be the best in the world, and Madecasse’s unique flavour combinations.

The Choco-Beerfest will kick off on Thursday 15th October at 4pm at Tap East, Great Eastern Market, Westfield Stratford City, with the first pints of the beery-chocolate goodness being pulled at 7pm.

Mad├ęcasse Co-Founder Brett Beach will also be in the Great Eastern Market Kitchen to cook up some indulgent chocolate treats and there will be a free chocolate tasting, plus a chocolate and beer matching session also taking place.

This time around we have teamed up with some of Yorkshire's finest to create a very special series of beers. We're proud to announce that on 31st July we will be launching brews with the following collaborators:

Bad Co. Brewing
Northern Monk
Bad Seed
Ghost Brewing

Alongside these we will have a wide selection of guest ales sourced from all across Yorkshire. Expect to see the likes of Ilkley, Great Heck, Exit 33, Brass Castle, Magic Rock, Roosters, Saltaire and Summer Wines on the bar at Tap East throughout our festival weekend.

And if that wasn't enough we will also be serving up some tasty pies from our friends in north Yorkshire, True Foods.

So if you're in London for the Yorkshire day weekend (yes, such a thing exists and it's on 1st August) then Tap East is the place to be. See you there 31st July - 2nd August.
